PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To manufacture a liquid crystal display device capable of easily removing cullet even if it is stuck on a signal input terminal. SOLUTION: By forming fine projecting and recessing parts 12 on the surface of a signal input terminal 2, a rigid sticking of a foreign matter 4 such as cullet to the surface due to a vacuum state at a surface in contact with the signal input terminal 2 is prevented. The foreign matter 4 such as cullet is simply removed by cleaning thereby and poor contact of a probe due to the foreign matter 4 when performing dynamic operating inspection is dissolved. The foreign matter 4 such as cullet may cause defective contact if its size is around 10% based on a width of each signal input terminal 2. Therefore the rigid sticking of the foreign matter 4 such as cullet, with a size capable of causing defective contact, to the signal input terminal 2 is prevented by forming a number of projecting and recessing parts 12 with a size <=10% based on the width of the signal input terminal 2.
