PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a ball for regulation baseball, having similar characteristics to normal hard balls and being excellent in waterproofness. SOLUTION: In the ball for regulation baseball, having a layer 13 of wool yarn provided on the outer periphery of a rubber core 12 with a burnt cork 11 therein, and having an outermost layer provided on the outer periphery of the layer 13 via a layer 14 of cotton yarn, the outermost layer is made from a water-impermeable resin 15 and its total weight is 142 to 148 g.
