PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve a charging/discharging cycle service life characteristic by using a polyolefine microporous film having metallic carbonate particles or metallic oxide particles fixed to the surface contacting with at least either of a positive electrode and a negative electrode, as a separator. SOLUTION: A material by fixing calcium carbonate particles to polyethylene one surface is used as a separator 5, and a negative electrode plate 3, the separator 5 and a positive electrode plate 1 are wound in spiral so that the rough surface part of this separator is opposed to a positive electrode to constitute an electrode body (a plate group). A polyolefine microporous film having metallic carbonate particles or metallic oxide particles fixed to the surface contacting with at least either of the positive electrode and a negative electrode, is used as the separator 5. Thus, since a recess/projection is formed in the separator 5, an electrolyte can be abundantly preserved in the clearance part formed between the positive electrode plate 1 or the negative electrode plate 3 and the separator 5 to restrain drying of the electrolyte caused by irreversible reaction by generation of gas in the electrolyte and the positive/negative electrodes. |
