PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To set timer video recording reservation of a succeeding program with a very simple operation in the case than the succeeding program of a recorded TV program will be broadcasted next week or next day. SOLUTION: In the case of recording a signal on a magnetic tape 12 being a recording medium, recording information 36 relating to a time when recording is started, and end time and a recording source or the like is stored in other storage means 6 than the tape 12 and a specific ID is given to read the recording information 36 later and the ID number information is recorded on the tape 12. In the case of recording the recorded timer 12 at the same start and end time through timer reservation of the same channel, the ID number information is read from the tape 12 by depressing a setting key 23 and the recording information 36 specified by the ID number is read from the recording means 6. The timer reservation is set by storing the read recording information 36 to a reservation memory of the timer reservation setting means 5. When the reservation time comes, the recording of the signal onto the tape 12 is started. |
