PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To incorporate a date imprinting device not so as to load on the cost per camera. SOLUTION: The data imprinting device 100 constituted so that a liquid crystal panel 101 and its control unit 102 are integrated is supported on the front surface side of the camera main body 10 of the camera which can be reused and the liquid crystal panel 101 is positioned in the corner part of a picture frame 16, to imprint a date by the exposure of a picture. Simultaneously, it is constituted so that the circuit of the control unit 102 passes through the rear cover 30 of the camera, to return the date of the liquid crystal panel 101 to zero by the attachment/detachment of the rear cover 30 whenever a film is replaced.
