EQUIPMENT FOR CHIPPING SURFACE OF CONCRETE OF TUNNEL

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide equipment for chipping which is suitable for a chipping operation inside a tunnel. SOLUTION: In order to chip a deteriorated part of the surface 5 of concrete 4 covering the inner surface of a tunnel 2, from the inside in the radial direction of the concrete 4, a rotary shaft 10 is supported rotatably around the axis of the tunnel on a support stage 6 to be seated on the surface 5 of the concrete 4. The rotary shaft 10 is made longer by a prescribed length than the longitudinal width of the support stage 6 in the direction of the axis of the tunnel, and an arm 11 is so provided at one end part thereof as to be movable back and forth outward in the radial direction. At the fore end part of the arm 11, a rotary cutter 3 which is brought into contact with the surface 5 of the concrete 4 by an outward advance in the radial direction of the arm 11 and chips the surface of the concrete 4 over the whole circumference thereof with its own rotation and the rotation of the arm 11 by the rotary shaft 10 is provided.
