PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a sealing material made proof against discoloration without adversely affecting its curability and sealability by incorporating an active sulfur-containing compound. SOLUTION: There is provided a polyurethane sealing material containing at least one active sulfur-containing compound in an amount 0.10-20.0 times the lead content of a lead compound contained as a curing catalyst. The active sulfur-containing compound used is at least one member selected among thiuram compounds such as tetramethylthiuram disulfide, thiazole compounds such as 2-mercaptobenzothiazole, thiourea compounds such as N,N'-diethylthiourea, sulfenamide compounds such as N-t-butyl-2-benzothiazolylsulfenamide, dithiocarbamate compounds such as zinc dimethyldithiocarbamate, and xanthate compounds such as zinc butylxanthate. The lead compound as a curing agent is exemplified by lead octylate, lead naphthenate, and lead versatate.
