PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a thermal stimulation therapeutic apparatus which can be easily utilized in safety without using fire and which is superior in thermotherapeutic effect in the thermotherapy such as moxibustion by using an exothermic substance such as inorganic salt, activated zeolite generating heat by hydration as a heat source. SOLUTION: An exothermic substance generates heat by hydration, and particularly inorganic salt and activated zeolite can be effectively used. An exothermic body of, for example, 37-55 deg.C is preferred, and particularly that having -400 through 5 kg/mol of standard dissolution enthalpy (25 deg.C) to water is preferred. Further carbonate and organic acid are preferably added to the exothermic body so that the carbonic acid gas is generated during the use. Further the exothermic body is included in a container having, for example, a non-water passing part 1, a water passing part 2 and an adhesive part 3 to form the heat stimulation therapeutic apparatus, and the container 3 is used by adhering the adhesive part 3 to a part of the local skin. The water is supplied to the water passing part 2 of the container to make the exothermic substance generate the heat, whereby the thermotherapy is performed to the part of the local skin.
