PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a heat exchanger in which a condenser and a liquid receiver can be formed integrally with small number of component members without being subjected to thermal effect on the condenser side. SOLUTION: The heat exchanger comprises a parallel flow type condenser 5 including a plurality of heat exchanging tubes 3 coupled in parallel between a pair of header pipes 1 and fins 4 arranged between the heat exchanging tubes 3, and a liquid receiver 10 coupled with the condenser 5 through a refrigerant flow-in tube 12 and a refrigerant flow-out tube 13 and storing liquid refrigerant passing through the condenser 5. A fixing piece 11 having a joint face 11a touching the other surface projects from any one of the header pipe 1 of the condenser 5 or the liquid receiver 10 and the header pipe 1 is brazed to the liquid receiver 10 through the fixing piece 11.
