SOLUTION: Relating to this video display device 1; a video formed by transmitting projected light from a light source 42 through an annular color filter 2 rotated by a motor for rotating a filter and radiating it to a video display device 46 provided with a radiation fin 53 through an optical device 45 is projected onto a screen by a projection lens 48, and many blades 2A and 2B juxtaposed at a prescribed interval are disposed in a peripheral direction on the inner and outer peripheral surfaces of the filter 2 and constituted of blades sending air to the fin 53 of the device 146 by the rotation of the filter 2.
