PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a game apparatus and information memory medium of getting arms that an enemy's character uses as the arms of player's own character. SOLUTION: In a game apparatus, when the player's own character attacks and beats down the enemy's character, the arms, which is equipped on the enemy's character, is eliminated, and then, its own character is moved to the eliminated arms direction and when the eliminated arms enters in the area where it is reached to the part of its own character body, the eliminated arms is captured. The game apparatus judges whether the captured arms is the same one that its own character has an when it is different from that, its own character's arms is changed to the captured arms to be the equipped arms of its own. When the captured arms is same to that of its own character, the bullet number of captured arms is counted that of its own character's arm to be the bullet number of its own character (step S101-S106).
