PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image processor capable of correcting light quantity decline around images even in the case that photographing is performed by the lens of low performance and stably obtaining the images of high image quality without darkening surroundings. SOLUTION: This image processor 14 executes a prescribed image processing to image data obtained by photoelectrically reading the images photographed on a photo film through the photographing lens of a camera and turns them to the image data for output. In this case, it is provided with a means for obtaining the characteristics of the photographing lens, the means for developing the characteristics of the photographing lens to a dipping amount corresponding to the position of the image and the means for performing the peripheral light quantity correction of the image by using the dipping amount.
