PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an outer antenna device for portable telephone set, which can be used without being restricted by an installation part and a frequency band. SOLUTION: An outer antenna for portable telephone set 1 is installed on the horizontal face part of a rear tray by loading it on a stand 10 or it is made attachable/detachable to/from the stand 10. Thus, it is installed on the vertical face part of a window and the like. Since the lengths of antenna wires 5 and 6 are adjusted to be matched with the 800 MHz band of a portable telephone set, the length of an antenna wire 7 is adjusted to be matched with the 1,500 MHz band of the portable telephone set and the antenna wires 5 and 6 are arranged close to the antenna wire 7, the radio wave of the 800 MHz band and the antenna wires 5 and 6 resonate and the radio wave of the 1,500 MHz band and the antenna wire 7 resonate in a state, where power is fed to the antenna wires 5 and 6. Thus, the radio waves of 800 MHz and 1,500 MHz can be transmitted/received.
