PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a device engaging tool capable of fixing a device to a fishing rod and preventing the device separating from the fishing rod when an angler moves a fishing spot in a used state of the fishing rod engaged with the device as it is or a shaking out fishing rod with a reel is stored. SOLUTION: A pair of Hook-and-Loop fasteners attached to a belt are used in order to wind a body at any position of a fishing rod with the belt. The belt is provided with a fishhook latching part separately from the fasteners. When the body is wound with the belt at an arbitrary position, the fishhook latching part is not brought into contact with the Hook-and-Loop fasteners 3a or 3b and the fishhook fixed to the fishhook latching part is pressed by the belt.
