PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a portable communication device which can stop only the transmission of a portable telephone set temporarily and use other functions, such as an information processing function individually during the that period and the storage medium stored with the program. SOLUTION: This invented portable communication device consists of a control circuit part 1, a display part 2, a loudspeaker 3, a vibrator 4, a memory 5, a data input part 6, a reception part 7, a transmission part 8, a timer 9, an antenna 10, a power circuit part 11, a switch 12, and a power supply circuit part 13. When a user inputs a transmission stop command and a transmission stop time to the control circuit part 1 through a data input part 6, the timer 9 is actuated and generates a power-off signal to turn off the switch 12. Consequently, the electric power supplied from the power source circuit part 11 to the transmission part 8 through the power supply circuit 13 is cut off, and the transmission part 8 turns into a transmission stop state. Consequently, peripheral equipment can be prevented from malfunctioning and other function parts are supplied with electric power, so that for example, a game and the like can be played by using the information processing function. |
