PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce costs by curving and forming the open-side edge of a partition wall formed in a lower case, by pressing a flexible flat display plate being placed on a curve-side edge to the curve-side edge by an upper case being deposited and connected to the lower case, and by maintaining the flat display plate to be curved. SOLUTION: A movement 15 and a circuit board 14 of a measuring instrument are assembled to a lower case 12. A flexible flat display plate 20 being formed in advance is placed on a curve-side edge 19 of a partition wall 18 that forms a lamp housing part 29 being provided in the lower case 12, and then an upper case 13 is deposited onto the lower case 12. Then, when the upper case 13 is deposited onto the lower case 12, the flat display plate 20 is pressed along the curve-side edge 19 of the lower case 12 by a clamping piece 22 being provided in the upper case 13, and the flat display plate 20 becomes a convex surface corresponding to the curve-side edge 19, thus obtaining lens operation.
