PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To dry user's feet in a short time by blowing hot air to the feet. SOLUTION: In a feet drier 30, when one stands on mesh netting 28, he is detected by a sensor constituted of a light-emitting element 16 and a light- receiving element 17. When the sensor detects a human body, a motor 2 is driven to rotate a fan 3 and turns on a heater 4. The outside air is sucked into the main part 11 through a filter 9 in accordance with the revolution of the fan 3. Wind generated by the fan 3 is heated by the heater 4 to make the wind warm. The heating extent is restrained within a higher temperature than the outside air by 2-3 degrees in order to prevent scald of user 40 (if usable ambient temperature of this feet drier is 0-49 deg.C, the upper limit of the wind temperature is 42-43 deg.C.). A part of the warm air is diagonally downward blown out vigorously through the blowout opening 21 of the main part 11.
