PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an accelerator actuator for governor control of an engine with a simple structure, not occupying a large space. SOLUTION: This accelerator actuator is provided with a screw motor M; a guide bracket 3 to restrict the rotation of the output shaft 6 of the screw motor M; the inner cord 12 of a push-pull cable 2 whose one end is connected to the end of the output shaft 6, and extended in the axial direction, while the outer end is connected to the accelerator side; and a potentiometer P to convert the moving amount of the output shaft 6 into an electric signal, In this case, a pull cable with one end locked to a slide bloak 7 fixed to the output shaft 6 is extended in the axial center direction to convert its direction by an idle pulley 20, and wound to a winding pulley 9 to be locked. The winding pulley 9 is energized in the direction to wind the pull cable by a recoil spring constantly, and the potentiometer P is connected to the winding pulley 9.
