PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide the navigation system which eliminates a worry about fuel shortage during a travel. SOLUTION: The navigation system is equipped with a position detecting means which detects the position of a vehicle and a map readout means which reads out map information corresponding to the position of the vehicle detected by the position detecting means, and further equipped with a route detecting means which detects a travel route where the vehicle will travel in future, a distance calculating means which calculates the travelable distance of the vehicle corresponding to the rest of fuel of the vehicle, and a final filling-station search means which searches for the final farthest filling station among filling stations positioned within the travelable distance in the travel route of the vehicle detected by the route detecting means, and a display means which displays on map information the final filling station in the travel route searched for by the final filling-station search means. |
