ADAPTER DEVICE AND ELECTRONIC EQUIPMENT CONTROL SYSTEM USING THE DEVICE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electronic device control system which can perform the fast communication between two electronic devices and also can control a desired electronic device at a high speed and with high efficiency by using the memory of an adapter device to perform the communication between both electronic devices. SOLUTION: An adapter device 1 connects an electronic camera 2 to a personal computer 3 and transfers the image data which are photographed by the camera 2 to the computer 3. The 1st and 2nd card-shaped connectors 11 and 12 which construct a connection means are disposed to the adapter device 1 together with a memory card slot 13 which composes a memory application part and a control part 14. The connectors 11 and 12 are connected to the part 14 via the cables 15 and 16 respectively. The slot 13 is placed on the same substrate as the part 14 at a main body part 1a including the part 14, for example, and connected to the part 14. Then a memory card 18 can be freely loaded into and unloaded from the slot 13.
