PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent a shutter member from being caught to the rear surface side of a benzel part by hardly engaging them with each other when a magnetic disk cartridge provided with almost T-shaped shutter member is taken out from a drive device. SOLUTION: The disc-like magnetic disk media are rotatably housed in a case, and the shutter member 4 for opening/closing an opening of the case for inserting the magnetic head is provided in almost T shape with a cover part to cover the opening for inserting the magnetic head by a lower surface plate part 43 and left/right front frame parts 43c extended to the horizontal direction along the front edge part of the case. The rear edge part of guide part 43e at the elastic member side having a guide pawl part 45 sliding a guide groove 13 of the case C provided on the end part of the front frame part 43c, is formed in the stepped structure so that its top end is made nearer to the surface of the case.
