PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enhance workability for assembling work for a moving plate or the like. SOLUTION: In an IC socket as a 'socket for an electrical component' for approaching and separating to/from a solder ball 12b by opening and closing contact parts 15f of a contact pin 15, the pin 15 has a pair of clamping pieces 15b turned around a fulcrum part 15e, the solder ball 12b is nipped in tip parts of the both pieces 15b to form the contact parts 15f to be electrically connected, the pin 15 has force point parts 15h pressed to a moving plate 17, the parts 15h are pressed to turn the clamping parts 15b around the fulcrum 15e thereby so as to open the both contact parts 15f, and the contact parts 15f and the force point parts 15h are formed insides opposed each other to sandwich the fulcrum 15e.
