OIL LEVEL GAUGE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent degrading of work capability in inserting in a guide tube due to overspilt resin and degrading of appearance for an oil level gauge fixed by ultrasonic-welding the fixing part of the metal gauge body in a coupling hole of resin-made grip member. SOLUTION: An oil level gauge 3 is formed with a lid 8b and a receiver 8a which are formed by splitting a fixing part 5 of resin-made grip member 8 along a coupling hole 30 for fixing the fixing part 4b of a gauge member 4. At a part on the outer surface along the contact surface 8c of the lid 8b and the receiver 8a, an escaping part 11 for molten resin overspilling during welding is formed. The lid 8b and the receiver 8a are assembled by pinching in the state the fixing part 4b is inserted in the coupling hole 13 and the contact part 8c is ultrasonic-welded.
