PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To always and surely prevent cuttings from scattering regardless of depth of cutting in a structure for preventing cuttings from scattering in a portable circular saw. SOLUTION: In a portable circular saw 1 wherein depth DS of cutting can be changed by inclining a circular saw main body 2 with a circular saw blade 10 to a base 3, a dust cover 30 for preventing cuttings blown-off from a cuttings blowing-off part K from scattering is rotatably provided around the rotational center C of the saw blade 10 and rotation of the dust cover 30 is linked with inclination of the base 3 to hold the position of the dust cover 30 at the cuttings blowing-off part K.
