PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent the confusion of a photographer and a failure in recording required information even if the aspect ratio of a finder of a camera is different from that of a recorded image. SOLUTION: In a camera main body 1, kind information outputted from an information output part 22 of loaded adapter 2 is discriminated by an adapter discriminating part 19. Then, a visual field frame changing part 15 is controlled by a visual field frame control part 20 based on the result of the discrimination of the adapter discriminating part 19. Thus, a finder visual field frame is changed according to the kind of the adapter 2 loaded to the camera main body 1.
