PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve cooling performance by preventing or reducing collisions between natural convection and forced convection of refrigerant gas in a centrifugal force field between adjacent rotor winding end portions in a holding ring, and promotion convection heat transfer on the surface of rotor winding end portions. SOLUTION: A holding ring 7, covering the outer periphery of a rotor winding end portions 6 of a winding wound around an iron core 4 of a rotator 2, is installed in the rotor 2. An end ring support 8 having an aperture 8a is fitted to the inner periphery of the aperture end portion of the holding ring 7. A fan for forcibly feeding refrigerant gas to end ring support 8 side is installed in the rotor 2. An obstruction block 22 obstructing that the refrigerant gas flows into the holding ring 7 from the aperture 8a of the end ring support 8, and a ventilating hole 23 which introduces the refrigerant gas to the outer periphery side of the rotary winding end portions 6 in the holding ring 7 are installed.
