PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent the adhesion of foreign matter flowing in from the outside to the surface of a lens means by opening and closing the lens means by contact of a dust cover turnably disposed atop a pickup with a cam member installed atop one side of a pickup base. SOLUTION: When a guide rod 410 of the dust cover 400 is brought into contact with the guide surface constituting of a cam member 300 and is transferred, the dust cover 400 is turned slightly around the hinge coupling section with an external case 600 and is located in proximity to the lens means 210, by which the dust cover is guided to the boundary between chucking sections. When the optical pickup means is further transferred, the optical pickup means is transferred into the chucking section along the guide. Accordingly, since the dust cover 400 completely shields the lens means 210 of the optical pickup means, the adhesion of the foreign matter admitted from the outside to the surface of the lens means 10 is shut off. |
