INTAKE MANIFOLD

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an intake manifold capable of connecting the actuating shaft of an actuator to the turning shaft of intake control valves by means of a simple structure and having superior durability. SOLUTION: This intake manifold has intake paths 12 for connecting a a surge tank 10 to a cylinder; intake control valves 2 for opening and closing the intake paths 12; and an actuator 3 for turning and moving the intake control valves. The actuator 3 has an actuating shaft 35 inserted in the surge tank. The actuating shaft 35 is provided with a pin 63 projected in parallel with a turning shaft 25 of the intake control valves 12. In addition, the turning shaft 25 at its external part is provided with a guide member 62 having a sliding groove 620 engageable with the pin. The pin of the actuating shaft 35 is engaged with the sliding groove of the guide member 62 in the interior of the surge tank 10. Advancing and retreating the actuating shaft 35 turns and moves the turning movement shaft 25 through the guide member 62.
