PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable a user to confirm the still images which are continuously photographed before these images are recorded on a recording medium by photographing continuously plural still images in a prescribed period when the pressing is applied down to a 1st stage, displaying the photographed still images and storing the static images which are continuously photographed in a storage medium when the pressing is applied down to a 2nd stage. SOLUTION: When an operation signal is inputted to a control part 11 from an operation input part 10 to photograph the images in a continuous shoot mode, a camera device 1 photographs plural still images in a prescribed time at a camera processing part 2 in a half-pressed state and shows these photographed images at a display part 4 as a thumbnail image. Thus, the device 1 can show a user the continuously photographed still images before they are recorded on a recording medium 8. When an operation signal is inputted to the part 11 to set a fully pushed state, the video signals showing each of still images which are continuously photographed and stored in a 1st memory 5 are recorded on the medium 8 via a signal processing part 3, a companding processing part 6 and then a memory I/F 9.
