PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve the precision and speed of delay simulation by inserting a waveform shaping circuit between an output terminal and transistors, which drive the output terminal in parallel, fixing an output drive capability. SOLUTION: A waveform shaping circuit 208 is driven in parallel by P-type transistors 203 and 204. Because either of the transistors 203 and 204 is shifted to an on-state or an off-state due to the state change of input terminals 201 and 202, the capability to drive the circuit 208 depends upon the states of the terminals 201 and 202 and changes. Because the fluctuations of the drive capability is caused to pass through the circuit 208, it is not transferred up to an output terminal 207. Also, the unbalance in drive capabilities of N-type transistors 205 and 206 and the transistors 203 and 204 is not transferred up to the terminal 207 by making it pass through the circuit 208. That is, the drive capability of the terminal 207 is not changed because it is decided by the drive capability of the circuit 208, and a stable drive capability is always obtained.
