PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To surely start an engine by means of remote control by adjusting a starter driving time to a value suitable to the kind of a car, the condition of a battery and the like. SOLUTION: A holding time holding an ignition switch at a starter starting position 'ST' when an engine is manually started, is measured by a measurement means. The measured holding time is stored in an E2PROM 6 by a memory control part 52, and a starter driving time to be energized to a starter at the time of engine remote starting, is corrected by a correction part 57 based on plural read-out holding times.
