PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a luminous ornament enabling the effect of illumination to be improved by turning on LED slowly and also turning off LED slowly. SOLUTION: This includes an oscillator OSC for oscillating a rectangular pulse and a capacitor for repeating charge and discharge requiring a predetermined time in accordance with an ON-OFF operation of the pulse signal obtained by the oscillator OSC, thereby turning on LED slowly and also turning off LED slowly with the charge and discharge of the capacitor. For instance, when LED is put on the petal of an artificial flower in a flower pot 1 for glimmering operation, an effect of illumination can be improved by slow glimmering operation of LED.
