PURPOSE: The cathode ray tube(CRT) improves the effect of blocking a harmful electromagnetic wave. CONSTITUTION: The cathode ray tube includes; a panel(20) having a screen plane; a funnel(30) including a cone part(32) and a neck part(31) and being confronted with the panel; an electron gun inserted to the neck part of the funnel; an outer conductive film(40) including a first conductive film part(41) coated continuously partially on the outer circumference of the cone part and the neck part of the funnel and a second conductive film part which is coated on the outer circumference of the funnel, being connected with the first conductive film part electrically; a deflection yoke(50) which has a vertical deflection coil, being installed on the cone part of the funnel. The cathode ray tube increases the resistance of a transparent conductive film coated on the screen plane by absorbing and blocking the electromagnetic wave, which is generated from the deflection yoke coil, with the first conductive film part.
