PURPOSE: A method is provided to continuously manufacture complex rod wire with copper surface onto an aluminum core material by the thermal bonding of two materials having weak electric resistance using the chemical combining and the physical method to prevent the formation of porosity at the boundary part of the two materials. CONSTITUTION: The compound rod wire manufacturing method comprises the steps of:making coarse the surface of rod wire; forming a plate having same width as the circumference of the rod wire; forming unevenness part onto the surface of one side of the plate; processing the surface of the plate having unevenness part to be coarse; forming the plate in a shape suitable for covering the rod wire; forming a bonded body by inserting and compressing the rod wire onto the plate; forming compound rod wire by performing high frequency bonding to the bonded body; and strengthening the bonding strength of the rod wire using a rolling roller and a dice.
