PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To evade such an inconvenient case that the memory capacity becomes deficient during its storage even when the storage of an original is accepted by preferentially print-outputting a received document if the storage of the original is accepted while the received document is stored in a memory. SOLUTION: A facsimile device stores a received document in an image memory 104 as the image data when the facsimile transmission is received from the outside while paper for print output is not set at a recording control part 114. Then the received document stored in the memory 104 is outputted from an operating part 185 by a key operation after the paper for print output is set at the part 114 and then deleted from the memory 104. If the reading of an original is indicated while the received document is stored in the memory 104, the print output processing of the received document can be performed preferentially. In addition, it's possible to previously set the validation or invalidation for the preferential output of the received document by the operation of a function key.
