PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a ventilation-measuring instrument that can easily adjust a support position for a rod-shaped specimen, can be easily handled, and has simple structure. SOLUTION: A ventilation-measuring instrument is composed of first, second, and third cylindrical containers 30, 40, and 50 that support a cigarette C and detachably fit a specimen retention member 70 for airtightly dividing the upper and lower portions of the support part. The second cylindrical container 40 is provided between the first cylindrical container 30 that is mounted to a substrate 20 and airtightly and selectively blockades the lower-end opening part and the third cylindrical container 50 that is mounted to an elevation device 60, is provided while being moved up and down freely, and is placed at the upper portion of the first cylindrical container so that the second cylindrical container 40 is airtightly fitted to the first and third cylindrical containers, and an airtight chamber is formed between the specimen retention members being fitted to each cylindrical container.
