PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a ventilation measuring apparatus by which the flow rate of the air flowing into from the filter part of a filter-tip cigarette or from the side face of the winding part of a cigarette can be measured simply and with high accuracy for a long period. SOLUTION: In a measuring apparatus, a suction means 10 by which the air inside a first airtight chamber in a ventilation container 1 is sucked at a flow rate prescribed by a critical nozzle 13 is provided, a first flowmeter 31 and a second flowmeter 32 which measure the flow rate of the air flowing into a second airtight chamber and a third airtight chamber are provided, a pressure gage 33 which measures pressures generated in the respective flowmeters 31, 32 is provided, flow-passage selector valves 22, 23, 24 by which the first and second flowmeters 31, 32 are connected selectively to the suction means 10 are provided, and a means by which a flow-rate measuring characteristic is calibrated via the respective flowmeters 31, 32 on the basis of pressures measured by the flowmeters 31, 32 when the air is sucked selectively is provided. In addition, the pressure gage 33 is connected selectively to the first and second flowmeters 31, 32.
