MULTI-CASTING CONNECTING RESTORE DEVICE AND METHOD AT DOUBLED SWITCHBOARD OF ASYNCHRONOUS TRANSFER MODE MULTIMEDIA SWITCHING SYSTEM

PURPOSE: A device and a method are provided to restore the existing multi-casting connection data to the switching board when the switching board should be replaced because a trouble is generated in the doubled switching board while operating the ATM-MSS system. CONSTITUTION: The device and the method are composed of: a system management unit for managing the system; a node control unit(20) for connecting the whole node of the system and managing troubles and structures, connected with the system management unit; switch units(40a,40b) for switching an ATM cell, connected with the node control unit and consisted of plural switch boards; a clock supplying unit for supplying the clock to the switch unit; a subscriber unit which is connected to the node control and the switch unit and consisted of plural subscriber boards.
