PURPOSE: A biodegradable resin having a good compatibility with polyethylene and its manufacturing method are provided which reduces degradation of physical property of conventional polyethylene and improves biodegradability. CONSTITUTION: The composition comprises 100 wt. parts of matrix resin mixed biodegradable denatured polycaprolactam and denatured polyethylene in a wt. ratio of 1:0.05-7, 10-200 wt. parts of starch, and 0.1-60 wt. parts of starch plasticizer. For an example, linear low density polyethylene 5kg and anhydrous maleic acid 25g, and benzoylperoxide 2g are mixed in a super mixer and extruded at 190°C in a twin screw extruder to give denatured polyethylene. Denatured polycaprolactam is manufactured by the method excepting 150°C. Denatured polycaprolactam 5kg and denatured polyethylene 5kg are mixed at a tumble mixer. Starch 3.5kg, glycerin 03kg, and water 0.1kg are mixed. The each compound is mixed to give biodegradable resin having good compatibility with polyethylene, which is mixed with linear low density polyethylene 4.1kg to give biodegradable polyethylene film. |
