PURPOSE: A method is provided to perform a function of automatic-answering if a user does not respond to a call message for more than a regular time. CONSTITUTION: The automatic-answering method of a wireless terminal comprises the steps of: examining whether the call message is received through a call channel; examining whether the automatic-answering function is set up when the call message is received; performing the automatic-answering action when the automatic-answering function is set up; performing the automatic-answering function after generating more than the regular number of call sounds when the automatic-answering function is not set up.
