PURPOSE: A conversion device of a pulse code modulating signal is provided to reduce the prime cost by making possible the compatibility between two coding styles different from each other. CONSTITUTION: The modulating signal conversion device has; a channel selecting unit generating the channel selecting signal to appoint at least one of certain channel among many channels of the digital signals to be fed; and a codec(210) to output by modulating using the other modulation form after copying the signal loaded on a certain channel appointed by the channel selecting signal by being modulated using one modulation form among two pulse code modulation forms.
