PURPOSE: A combined joystick and mouse device is provided to perform a mouse or joystick function at the same time by adding a joystick function to a mouse. CONSTITUTION: The combined joystick and mouse device comprises: a body part(10) for performing a mouse function; a location sensing part(14) installed at one side of the body part, for sensing a conversion operated by a user in order to instructing a coordinate movement on a screen to then transfer the sensed conversion to a system; a microcomputer(41, 42) for selecting data transferred from the body part or the location sensing part to drive the system according to the selected result, wherein the microcomputer(41, 42) has a switching part which selects one of the data transferred from the body part or the location sensing part.
