PURPOSE: A coating film of a cathode ray tube is provided to improve quality of a screen by overcoming brightness irregularity between a peripheral region and a central region of a screen. CONSTITUTION: The cathode ray tube comprises a panel of which the thickness of a peripheral region is thicker than that of a central region, wherein a charge function is given on an external surface; and a coating film for reducing an amount of reflection of ray being incident from an exterior. In a light transmittance ratio, the coating film of the panel central region is lower than that of the panel peripheral region, enabling both of the ratios uniform to be uniform.
