PURPOSE: A road display device enables a driver to recognize a display of a signal lamp easily by changing a brightness of a signal lamp according to an environment of a road periphery. CONSTITUTION: The road display device comprises: a traffic situation measuring part(100) having a unit for displaying a traffic congestion status and a unit(110) for measuring a vehicle velocity and a passage amount of a specific period; a traffic situation analyzing part(200) for analyzing a traffic situation during a predetermined time on the basis of a signal from the traffic situation measuring part; a road determining part(300) for outputting a control signal which determines a road on the basis of an analyzed result; a brightness control part(400) for generating a brightness control signal on the basis of the amount of light of a road periphery; a road code output part(500) for outputting a code of a road to be changed on the basis of signals from the road determining part and the brightness control part; a display lamp control part(710) having a display lamp control code generator(720) and a display lamp control code transmitter(730); and a display lamp light driving part(750) for driving a display lamp control code receiver which receives a signal sent from the display lamp control code transmitter.
