PURPOSE: Pigment comprising strontium, aluminum, ultraviolet absorber, and dispersion dye is provided which shows a two tone color and an improved luminance. CONSTITUTION: Pigment(I; Sr(Al)m(O)n(OH)p, m = 2 or 3, n = 4 or 5, p = 0 or 1) is manufactured with a different mole ratio as follows. Thus, the first pigment(I) is manufactured by reacting strontium, aluminum and water in a mole ratio of 1:3:6 at room temperature for 30 min to 3 hr, the second pigment(I) is manufactured by reacting strontium and aluminum in a mole ratio of 1:2 at 40-70°C in blowing oxygen into a reactor. For an example, 87.6g strontium, 81.0g aluminum and 108ml water are reacted for 1 hr at room temperature to give the first pigment(I), which(100g) is mixed with 0.2g phenylsalicylate as an ultraviolet absorber and 0.5g nitro dispersion dye to give a pigment composition(I). And 87.6g strontium and 54g aluminum are reacted for 1 hr at 55°C in blowing oxygen into a reactor to give the second pigment(I), which(100g) is mixed with 0.2g 2-hydroxy-4-methoxybenzophenon as an ultraviolet absorber and 0.5g anthraquinone dispersion dye to give the pigment composition(I). The product shows luminance and afterglow, which is above 10 times as good as conventional pigment. |
