PURPOSE: The method performs the division playback the image signal of a special camera selectively among image signals recorded intermittently as to several cameras. CONSTITUTION: The method comprises the steps of: playing back in the initial time lapse mode(S30); performing the frame advance by reading an image frame selectively having the same ID as the camera ID identified among several image frames stored in a memory(S33), after checking the camera ID being plaid back at the time when a frame advance instruction is inputted(S32) if the frame advance instruction is selected continuously in the state that Still instruction as to a special frame is inputted from a user(S31); performing the frame advance operation until an additional play stop instruction is inputted(S36) after storing the image signal of next frame in the memory(S35), if the frame advance as to the image stored in the memory is completed(S34). The method can perform the frame advance selectively the image signal which is shot by a special camera.
