PURPOSE: A simulation data storing method is provided to apply a stored execution status to a plant model before an amendment although a part of a plant model is amended. CONSTITUTION: The simulation data storing method comprises the steps of: reading the number of all module calculation variables from a model variable name file; reading the number of all nodes in the model variable name file to record the read number of the nodes to a simulation data file; reading base names for the nodes and the number of calculation variables for the nodes from the model variable name file one by one, to record the base names and the number of the calculation variables thus read to the simulation data file; comparing the base names with the read number; repeating the steps of reading and comparing when the base names is larger than the read number; reading base names for branches and the number of calculation variables for the branches from the model variable name file one by one, to record the base names and the number of the calculation variables thus read to the simulation data file; comparing the base names with the read number; comparing the base names with the read number; and repeating the steps of reading and comparing when the base names is larger than the read number, wherein the procedure is ended when the base names is not larger than the read number.
