PURPOSE: A laser scanning unit for a color picture output device is provided, which scans a plurality of scanning line so that an electrostatic latent image corresponding to each color is formed on a video surface of a photosensitive media. CONSTITUTION: A laser scanning unit for a color picture output device comprises: a photosensitive belt(40) to be supported to rollers(41a,41b,41c) and be installed for traveling a circulating track; electrification devices(44a,44b,44c,44d) for charging the photosensitive belt(40) with a certain voltage; a laser scanning unit(50) for scanning four scanning lines to the photosensitive belt(40) and forming an electrostatic latent image; developing units(42a,42b,42c,42d) for developing the electrostatic latent image formed by the laser scanning unit(50); a transcription unit(48) for transcribing the developed picture to a printing paper(S); a removing electric potential device(46) for removing an electric potential device formed in the photosensitive belt(40) by a heat. Therefore, the space and the cost are decreased, and the optical source module is embodied in a small size.
