A computer system for checking the interest and other charges on a bank account comprising means for inputting details of at least one bank account, the date and value of each lodgement to the account, the interest rate(s) applicable on the day of each lodgement and drawing, and other charges applied by the bank to the account. Upon entry of these details the system calculates the total of interest and other charges due on the account over a user defined period.
