APPARATUS FOR ASSEMBLING OPTICAL FIBER RIBBON

PURPOSE: An apparatus for assembling an optical fiber ribbon is to stably insert an optical fiber ribbon without a secession of the optical fiber ribbon when the optical fiber ribbon is inserted into a slot of a slot road. CONSTITUTION: An apparatus for assembling an optical fiber ribbon comprises: a slot road (10) on which a plurality of slot (12) is spirally formed; and a guide member (20b) to be combined to the slot road (10) for guiding an insert of an optical fiber ribbon (30), wherein the guide member (20b) including a connecting hole (22) to be formed at an external surface of the slot road (10), and a plurality of connecting hole (24) to be arranged on a concentric circle separated from the center of the connecting hole (22). Since the rotation direction of the slot is uniformly formed with the direction of the guide hole, the twist of the optical fiber ribbon is prevented and the secession of the optical fiber ribbon is prevented.
